The Zero Plastic 2040 initiative by ASEZ WAO challenges individuals and communities to reduce plastic use in their daily lives and embrace sustainable habits. The ultimate goal? A plastic-free world by the year 2040 — in line with the United Nations' vision and global environmental efforts.
Nearly 100 guests gathered at the Western Cape Provincial Parliament for this impactful forum, where the conversation centered around the urgent need to tackle plastic waste and its devastating effects on our oceans, waterways, and ecosystems.
